Thanks to Universal Pictures Australia, ccpopculture has 5 double passes to give away to The Invisible Man, releasing in Australian cinemas Thursday February 27th.
“What you can’t see can hurt you. Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss (Us, The Handmaid’s Tale) stars in a terrifying modern tale of obsession inspired by Universal’s classic monster character. Trapped in a violent, controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist, Cecilia Kass (Moss) escapes in the dead of night and disappears into hiding. But when Cecilia’s abusive ex commits suicide and leaves her a generous portion of his vast fortune, Cecilia suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia’s sanity begins to unravel as she desperately tries to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see. The Invisible Man is in Cinemas February 27.”
Leigh Whannell is best known for creating a horror genre wholesale by co-writing (and starring in) Saw. Over the last decade, he’s turned his attention to directing; his second feature, Upgrade, was one of the most interesting and exciting genre films of the past decade. His latest release looks to set the bar even higher. I know I’m very keen to see it!
If you want to see the film upon release – for free! – all you have to do is send an email to davecrewe@gmail.com with the subject heading “The Invisible Man Giveaway” and let me know your name and postal address. This giveaway is only open to Australian residents in the classification group of the film (The Invisible Man is awaiting classification). Winners will be notified Tuesday the 25th of February.
Thank you to all who entered; this competition has now closed. Congratulations to the winners Carina, Jack, Lee, Mary and Nina!
