Giveaway: Win John Malkovich DVD Prize Packs to Celebrate the Release of Crossbones [COMPLETED]

Crossbones - Season 1

Thanks to Icon Film Distribution, ccpopculture has 2 John Malkovich prize packs to give away, including Disgrace, RED, Warm Bodies and new pirate series Crossbones, out on Australian DVD on Wednesday December 9th.

Crossbones_Prize PackOne icon stars as another when Hollywood legend, John Malkovich plays Edward Teach, better known as the barbarous pirate Blackbeard in the NBC series, Crossbones.

It is 1729 and on the secret island of Santa Compana, the infamous Blackbeard reigns over a rogue nation of thieves, outlaws and miscreants.  Part shantytown, part utopia, part marauder’s paradise, this is a place like no other. Blackbeard covets the Longitude Chronometer, an invention that will change the world, and he tasks his most trusted pirates with stealing it. Their attack on a British vessel brings Blackbeard into contact with Tom Lowe (Richard Coyle) and undercover British spy whose mission is not only to protect the chronometer, but, should the opportunity arise, to assassinate Blackbeard.

Filled with extraordinary action, adventure and intrigue; it is a world where one can never be sure who is the hero and who is the villain.

John Malkovich is a pretty impressive actor; packing a pair of Oscar nominations (for Places in the Heart and In the Line of Fire) and a formidable back-catalogue of films, from Of Mice and Men to Being John Malkovich. Recent pirate-themed series has brought him to the television set, and with Crossbones hitting Australian stores in a week or so, you’ve got the chance to pick up that series and three other films (worth over 100 bucks, I’m told!).

All you have to do is send an email to davecrewe@gmail.com with the subject heading “Crossbones Giveaway” and let me know your name, postal address and your favourite John Malkovich film. This giveaway is only open to Australian residents over 15 years old.

This competition has now closed. Winners will be announced shortly.
